Jack Ciattarelli, the popular Republican candidate campaigning to be the next Governor of New Jersey knows what the residents of The Garden State are looking for in their next governor.
The astute politician understands that New Jersey residents want change and strong leadership and he is ready to bring it to them if he wins in November.
Thousands of residents have been attending Ciattarelli’s packed events all over the state in the last several months and many believe based on what they are hearing and seeing, that Ciattarelli is the right person to be the next New Jersey Governor.
In a deep blue state like New Jersey, with a population of 9.5 million (2024), some media critics have pointed out that Ciattarelli, could cause a potential shift in the political landscape as well as future voting patterns in New Jersey if he wins in November.
That’s huge.
Being endorsed by President Trump certainly added a major boost to the campaign.
“Jack, who after getting to know and understand MAGA, has gone ALL IN, and is now 100% (PLUS). He is strongly supported by the most Highly Respected Leaders in New Jersey and, as your next Governor, Jack Ciattarelli will work closely with me and the Trump Administration to advance our American First Agenda.” (Truth Social)
As a journalist covering NJ politics for years, I have seen many candidates promise everything under the sun to get votes, but when I see someone who is sincerely dedicated to making changes and truly wants to bring those changes to New Jersey residents, I see a path paved with success. Such is the case with Ciattarelli.
The successful businessman, a lifelong New Jerseyan with a loving Italian family, is no new comer to the world of politics. He served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2011 to 2018 representing the 46th legislative district and prior to that, held several local offices over the years. Ciattarelli won the Republican nomination in 2021 for Governor but lost to the current Governor Phil Murphy in a very narrow defeat. With his 2025 nomination gaining strong momentum and strong endorsements from associations and influential leaders, Ciattarelli has a good chance of beating the Democratic candidate, Representative Mikie Sherrill in the November general election.
It is well-known that New Jersey is home to an extremely large and diverse group of ethnic communities who have made The Garden State their home and business headquarters. Many from those cultural groups consists of South Asian Indian business leaders who have attended Ciattarelli’s events looking to learn about his economic plans for New Jersey business owners and entrepreneurs.

Asian Indians love New Jersey. They are one of the largest ethnic groups in The Garden State with almost a half a million in population. According to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, as of 2023, there are close to 5.2 million people of Indian origin living in the United States, making them the second-largest immigrant group behind the Chinese population. The Pew Research Center, states the Indian population has grown an estimated 3.1 million since 2000, (up from 1.8 million) which comes to around a 174% increase in two decades.
New Jersey has also become home to many elaborate Hindu temples due to its deeply faithful Hindu population. With over 28 temples located throughout the state, the largest one is the world famous and magnificent Swaminarayan Temple also known as BAPS, located in Robbinsville, New Jersey. Ciattarelli was an invited guest to the stunning temple recently where he interacted with worshippers, temple executives and spoke to a large audience of South Asian residents after the service.
During my recent visit to Edison, New Jersey, affectionately known as ‘Little India’, I had the opportunity to speak to several business owners and shoppers about Ciattarelli potentially becoming the next governor of New Jersey.
“I like what he believes in. He is a businessman, so he understands the business owner’s struggles and concerns,” said Ramesh Patel, owner of several businesses through out New Jersey.
The others I spoke to voiced their concerns about the rising costs of property taxes and the ongoing state funded benefit programs for illegal migrants.
“I do two jobs just to be able to provide for my family,” said Sanjay Patel. “I hope if he wins, Ciattarelli will reduce or at least control the number of illegals coming into New Jersey who are getting free benefits.”

Many of the restaurant and silk sari store owners all shared the same premise regarding Ciattarelli’s potential win: they want change in New Jersey and believe Ciattarelli will bring it.
While New Jerseyans are enjoying the summer season with beach trips and family picnics, Ciattarelli and his dedicated team of hardworking professionals have been non-stop campaigning around New Jersey with their message of hope and change. From small town diners, to large community events filled with thousands, Ciattarelli is working around the clock to show voters that he is the person ready to be the next Governor of New Jersey!
The journey continues…
