US Midterms Elections: Red,Blue,Federal,State or Local, Just Vote on November 6.

OK, so it’s finally arriving folks, the time to vote.

It’s one of the most intense, dramatic and exciting times in America right now.  Everyone needs to get out and let their voice be heard!

No matter which candidate you have in mind or what your beliefs are, just vote!

It takes a few minutes and its’ effects are ever lasting.

Make a difference. It’s your chance to on Nov. 6.

Vote red or blue, but just vote!

If you are not sure if you are registered to vote in your county or state, go to your local municipal office with photo ID and tell them you want to register.

Voting is a privilege in America people should take advantage of it. It’s part of American culture!

The midterm elections between the Republicans and the Democrats is proving to be one of the most intense and talked about this political season. Currently both the House and Senate are dominated by the Republicans.

Either party needs a total of  218 congressional seats in order to gain control of the House and it’s been one helluva guessing game as to which party will get to rule again.

In the US Senate, either party needs just 51 seats to win the majority thus giving more power to the winning party.

In Texas, the race between Democrat Beto O’Rourke and Republican Ted Cruz has gotten a great deal of attention after President Trump went to Houston to campaign for Cruz. Texas is predominately Republicans.

The gubernatorial Governor’s race in Florida is another hot one. Friends living in Florida say posters, TV ads and banners are everywhere reminding people to vote on Nov. 6.

The race between Florida Republican Ron DeSantis  a well-liked, popular all around politician and Democrat Andrew Gillum, mayor of Tallahassee with a strong record of achievements has gotten national attention. DeSantis is a regular guest on Fox News.

In New Jersey, the state is divided into 12 districts and the House has a 7-5 Democratic majority.

NJ Democratic Senator  Bob Menendez faces Republican challenger Bob Hugin in a race that has gotten a great deal of coverage due to Menendez’s prior corruption allegations.

Much attention in NJ is also being given to the US House Candidates race from the 4th district between longtime U.S.  Rep. Chris Smith a Republican, and newcomer Navy veteran Democrat Josh Welle. Both candidates have strong support from their district. Smith has been in office since 1981.

The NY Governor’s race is between the current  Governor Democrat  Andrew Cuomo  and Republican Marcus Molinaro. Cuomo’s father,  Mario Cuomo was Governor of NY for three terms. Cuomo Sr. passed away in 2015. Molinaro, a very popular Republican, became the youngest mayor in the United States for the city of Tivoli, NY at 19. Now at 43, the politician is eyeing the seat for NY Governor for the first time.

This midterm election includes concerns with healthcare, immigration, securing the US borders and creating more  jobs. With the US economy looking robust now and with majority of Americans employed, the Republicans are certainly showcasing their achievements heading into the midterm elections.

So, remember, vote on November 6 and hope for a great outcome for all.
