The gold rally and love from 2025 seems to be continuing in 2026 for the precious metal.

Gold has always been and continues to be a “safe haven” for those seeking secure investing for the future.

Having surged over $5000 an ounce in late 2025 for the time ever in trading, the popular metal continues to trade slightly above the $5000 mark in 2026 and analyst predict we can see new levels in trading that will make gold even more enticing. Gold traded at an extraordinary level of $5,595 towards the end of January.

With the Central Bank buying gold reserves, geopolitical uncertainty continuing around the world and the volatility around the US dollar, the most sought after commodity could be one of the hottest investments in 2026.

So, the million dollar question that investors and consumers keep asking, “is it a good time to buy?”

JP Morgan, the highly regarded financial institution has gone on record expecting gold to possibly reach the $6300 level sometime in 2026.

That’s not far fetched according to some Wall Street analysts and wealth managers who have been bullish on the metal for several months now.

In an Kitco article written by the brilliant Ernest Hoffman, Dominic Schneider, Head of Commodities and APAC and FOREX CIO at UBS Wealth Management has gone on record predicting the rise of gold will be part due to the central bank and investor demands, large fiscal deficits, lower interest rates and ongoing geopolitical events.

At the time of this writing, gold is steadily trading above the $5000 level as markets continue to be anxious especially with the US-Iran nuclear talks, the potential cease fire between Russia and Ukraine and the outcome of the recent tariff decision made by the Supreme Court, the precious metal is certainly in for a bumpy ride.
