This new category on The Ravi Report has been inspired from my many years of travel to India as a journalist where I was lucky enough to experience what the wonderful country has to offer in terms of people, culture, religion, beauty and of course Bollywood!

I will attempt to show in the new category, the artistic, beautiful and sophisticated “new side” of India that often goes unnoticed in the chaotic news culture around the world.

From the latest fashion and architectural designers, to the newest sexy cafes, top-rated TV shows, latest product, creative businesses and festivals to mouth-watering vegetarian cuisine and restaurants, I will make every attempt to show how the world’s largest democracy has transformed into an incredible, modern and sought after country by tourists, investors and celebrities.  Thank you Mr. Modi!

Also, based on questions and feedback from readers over the years, a section on special travel tips to India will be included such as giving information as to where to stay, what and where to eat (and how spicy!) the kinds of clothing to pack and how to deal with and face certain “touristy” situations that may arise from traveling to India.(hint: the notorious bathroom visits!) and other trip related tips that will make your first (or several) trips to India pleasurable and memorable.

I hope you enjoy this new feature which will hopefully open up new doors of adventure and excitement as you learn and “travel” to India via The Ravi Report!
