Indian singer Asha Bhosle is unstoppable. The world’s most recorded singer with over  12,000 songs recorded in several different languages, has been the reigning queen of Indian music for over six decades. That’s right folks, over six decades of singing for Bollywood movies.

Her svelte, sweet voice which has enchanted millions of Bollywood and Indian music fans around the world, still continues to be the number one choice for Bollywood songs.  In short, Asha Bhosle is the voice of Indian music. No doubt here folks.

But not just known to Indians, Bhonsle’s international notoriety started years ago when she began collaborating with global music icons including Peter Gabriel, Michael Stipes, Boy George, Robbie Williams, Kronos Quartet and most recently Australian superstar Brett Lee.

There are no signs of slowing down for this 84 year old grandmother. Her recent US tour sold out in weeks and fans are pleading with the iconic singer to come back again to the US in summer 2018.

“I will never retire. To much to do!” Bhosle tells The Ravi Report on her way to a recent show in NJ.

The journey continues and for Ms. Bhosle, there is no sign of slowing down.
