The entire country of India as well as the world, is not only talking about the newly opened and breathtaking Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodha, India, but also in the limelight is the one man, whose astonishing artistic talent has literally brought millions of devotees including the very popular Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, to tears.

Indian Sculpture and artistic genius, Arun Yogiraj was given the highest honors of creating the stunning idol of Shri Ram Lalla, the child-like form of the Hindu God Shri Ram for the newly build temple that has captivated millions of devotees around the world.

Yogiraj, the most sought after sculptor in India, hails from a family of five generations of sculptors and artists. His work can be seen at historical museums, national parks and special exhibits all across India.

The Shree Ram Lalla idol with its mesmerizing eyes, enchanted look and regal appearance, has captured the hearts of millions of Hindus around the world who have been celebrating the installation of the idol with their own celebrations, chants and special prayers.

The MBA graduate turned gifted sculptor learned the trade from his late father, B. S. Yogiraj Sr. who passed away from an accident in 2023. Yogiraj Jr. feels that it is his father’s and forefathers blessings that his idol was selected and placed in one of the most auspicious temples in India for the world to worship.

But with greatness, comes struggles. Yogiraj has stated that during the creation of the idol, he suffered an intense eye injury which put a delay in his work. But nonetheless, he continued on as he knew that he had to complete the idol on time which he successfully did.

The new temple in Ayodha has given Yogiraj international fame combined with celebrity status, but more importantly, the gifted artist has created something that will give the humble artist and his family a lifetime of blessings.
