So, it is finally here folks.

One of the most talked about events of the year is finally here.

On April 8, 2024, the solar eclipse will occur in parts of the US that will have millions of spectators witnessing the phenomenon.

The solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the earth and the sun completely blocking the face of the sun.

It will cross over Mexico, the United States and Canada. The next one will be on August 23, 2044.

Thousands of people who are in the path of totality will experience the most spectacular cosmic event they have ever seen. Dallas, the city in the path of totality in Texas, is expected to see the entire eclipse front and center and is reported to have almost half a million people coming into the city to watch.

The path of totality spreads across 115 miles and includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Even if you are not situated in the path of totality, you can still see the moon partially block out the sun.

The one thing that everyone in the media, the scientists and medical professionals are stressing is that DO NOT WATCH THE ECLIPSE WITHOUT THE SPECIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE GLASSES!

It is crucial to wear the glasses as blindness such as solar retinopathy and damage to the retina can occur. Even if you are not directly in the path of totality, you still need to wear the glasses to avoid future eye injury.

So get ready for one of the greatest shows about to begin and pray that the weathers Gods are kind and will keep the skies nice and clear for the show!
